We are proud that this area of protected landscape forms part of a series of sites in Cornwall and West Devon which was recognised in 2006 as a World Heritage Site. Come and explore!
Associations and Awards
The Tamar Valley Tourist Association - TAVATA
We love the Tamar Valley, we are sure you will love it too. As a Bed & Breakfast within this beautiful and unique area, we have chosen this to be one of our preferred Tourist Association Memberships. The Tamar Valley - a wide wooded river valley reaching from Bodmin Moor to Dartmoor, from the beaches of East Cornwall, to the towns of West Devon. The Valley brings together our mining heritage and so much more. Come and explore and enjoy it.
Green Tourism - Green Acorn Award
The Green Acorn Award Scheme, a voluntary, "green tourism" Award Scheme, has been run successfully by SECTA for well over 10 years and has been listed as an example of good practice in an Appendix to the BS 8900 British Standard for Sustainable Business. Entry on this site means that our establishment has gained the Award by carrying out at least 25 actions to reduce the impact of our business and that of our guests and on the environment.
SECTA - South East Cornwall Tourism Association
We are proud to belong to SECTA a Cornish association who actively promote quality holiday accommodation within South East Cornwall. We are inspected annually to meet their high standards. This beautiful area has something for everyone: unique festivals and events; ancient sites to explore across the atmospheric moors; remarkable historic houses and gardens to envy; miles of coastal walks to challenge and a wide variety of leisure activities to enjoy.
